Albany State hoops drops first conference game of the season

The Golden Rams men’s basketball team lost their first conference game of the season after being defeated (62-57) by the Lane College Dragons.  The Golden Rams went 1/18 from the 3-point line. 
 
With the loss, the Golden Rams fell to (4-2) overall and (2-1) in the SIAC while the Dragons improved to (2-2) overall and (2-1) in the conference. 
 
Blaise Wallace and Terin Wofford scored in double figures for the Golden Rams.  Blaise Wallace finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds.  Terin Wofford added 12 points and 3 rebounds.
 
Darrell Johnson led the Dragons with 18 points and 10 rebounds.  Floyd Williams added 10 points.
 
On Monday, December 4, the Golden Rams will play LeMoyne-Owen in the Bruce Hall Gymnasium at 8:30 pm, in Memphis, Tennessee.  The Golden Rams and Magicians last played on December 5, 2022.  On that day, the Magicians won (66-60).
